What I mean is, when you got your doll, how was her hair fixed? I read on AG.com, that AGT's hair comes in different styles when you get the doll.

In 2003 when I got my AGT, she came with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. If you look in the catalog, it says that the dolls all come with their hair either in a ponytail or in pigtails. They don't come in braids or anything, as far as I know.
